Good luck to athletes participating in BC Summer Games zone qualifiers!

It's an exciting time for sport in BC, as our province's best young athletes take part in the qualification and tryout process to earn the right to represent their zone at the Prince George 2022 BC Summer Games.

Zone qualifiers generate sport participation across all eight zones and eighteen sports, exhibiting the impact and reach of the Games.

Thank you to all Provincial Sport Organizations, coaches, and event organizers who make these qualification events possible!

Seeking Merchandise Contractor and volunteers

Planning for the Greater Vernon 2022 BC Winter Games has resumed with the new dates set for March 23-26, 2023. An RFP (request for proposal) has been released for Merchandise Contractor for the Games. The contractor will be the official Games merchandise supplier. Volunteer recruitment is also underway with recruitment events being planned throughout the community.

The BC Games Society would like to welcome David Conlin to the team as our new Marketing and Communications Manager.

In his new role, David will be responsible for developing and executing on the BC Games Society and Team BC marketing and communications plans.

Mission Staff announced for Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games

Team BC is excited to announce the Mission Staff headed to Niagara for the 2022 Canada Summer Games, August 6 - 21!

The team features a mix of new and familiar faces tasked with providing administrative, logistical, and performance support to Team BC's athletes and coaches.

Games Prep Program Webinar Series: Olympian Panel

Team BC athletes and coaches preparing for the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games had a chance to hear from four Canadian Olympians, as part of the CSI Pacific and Team BC Games Prep Program Webinar Series.

Special thanks to  Emma Entzminger (softball), Avalon Wasteneys (rowing), Shallon Olsen (gymnastics), and Alycia Butterworth (athletics) for sharing such fantastic insight from their Games experiences, and to CSI Pacific for facilitating this opportunity!
