Rugby Sevens won a historic Gold medal as Team BC picked up thirteen medals on Wednesday for a total of 42 medals, moving to second in the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games standings. 


Day 5 highlights included:

-     BC captured 10 medals in swimming events, including 5 gold medals
-     Rugby Sevens won the first Canada Summer Games gold medal in the sport
-     Wrestling women and men earned gold and silver, respectively, in the team event against Ontario
-     Softball walked it off against Ontario in an important game
