Team BC captured multiple medals, including a historic silver in box lacrosse, a gold medal in triathlon, and hardware at the 3000m Open Water Swim along with other strong performances. More medal opporunities await tomorrow.

Day 7 highlights included:

Softball captured their 5th consecutive gold medal, this time on a walk-off homerun against Quebec
BC’s mixed triathlon team featuring Sidney Clement (West Vancouver), Daniel Damian (Victoria), Trevor Laupland (Kamloops), and Colette Reimer (Victoria) secured Team BC’s third gold medal in triathlon at these Canada Summer Games.

Men’s basketball emerged victorious in the battle of the west, defeating Alberta 98-74 in the semifinal game. They have earned a spot in the gold medal game on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. where they will face Team Ontario
BC’s mixed tennis team earned a spot in the Gold medal tie after a hard fought semi-final victory tie against Ontario
